- Conserving the Coast for Man and Environment
The primary aim of the Blue Carbon Project Nigeria is to bring to the awareness of the Nigerian public the role coastal vegetation plays in environmental stability and livelihood; and hence, profer advice on the sustainable use of these resources.
Blue Carbon Project Nigeria is currently running two projects. The first is to estimate the biomass potential of coastal Nigeria and the second is to embark on the first blue carbon demonstration project in the country.
The team is comprised of highly experienced individuals with fieldwork experience, project management and a passion for mangrove conservation.
